About Job:


As the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee all warehouse activities in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include managing Goods In/Goods Out processes, leading a small team, developing and implementing SOPs, and collaborating closely with the Stock Control and Continuous Improvement teams.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Develop a highly focused and efficient warehouse operation, including Goods In/Goods Out and 3rd Party movements
  • Train, coach, and develop a small team.
  • Drive innovation to improve efficiencies throughout the warehouse operation.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate closely with the Stock Control and Continuous Improvement teams to ensure a first-class warehouse operation.
  • Oversee inventory management, including FIFO and stock rotation, to control stock movement in and out of the warehouse.
  • Participate in monthly and annual stock counts.
  • Manage all yard operations efficiently.
  • Effectively allocate both short-term and long-term resources within the warehouse.
  • Monitor and manage team performance against KPIs.
  • Conduct bi-annual performance reviews and develop training plans.
  • Partner with the Health & Safety Manager to prioritize safety.
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained and supplied to the production lines as needed.


About You:


An ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience, skills, and attributes. Please note that these competencies are not ranked in order of priority. Following criteria will be used in selecting a candidate.

  • Extensive experience working as a Warehouse Manager in a fast-paced organization.
  • Proven experience in managing and developing a team
  • Current FLT License (FLT Instructor certification is ideal, but extensive experience is acceptable).
  • Confident in managing changing priorities.
  • Proficient in using SAGE to effectively monitor and manage stock levels.
  • Capable of challenging existing workflows and introducing improved processes and procedures to maximize efficiencies.
