Our client is currently looking for a Systems Analyst to join them on a 6 month contract.


You will be part of a large team of Systems Analysts with diverse skills and experience. The role requires a motivated individual who can independently deliver results on both a generic product level and client-specific projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure requirements are well-defined and understood.
  • Produce logical design models in conjunction with Lead Systems Analyst and Functional Architects.
  • Work closely with technical developers to produce high-level solutions and document them.
  • Present proposals and high-level solutions to end users and stakeholders.
  • Perform business process modelling and produce detailed technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with testers to define and drive acceptance testing.
  • Maintain system documentation and work closely with development colleagues during the build phase.
  • Manage risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Actively participate in Scrum Ceremonies and champion quality within the scrum team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in development and support of Financial Services Applications.
  • Relevant experience as a Systems Analyst on large projects within the insurance, claim processing, or pensions industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with good data analysis experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Relational Databases (including SQL skills).
  • DB/DC experience/knowledge is essential
