Site Manager required to start immediately for a Power Plant construction project in the UK.


Purpose

The purpose of this position is to deliver the project KPI’s for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Customer Satisfaction through the effective management of the project team and interfacing with the client to ensure all project requirements are met.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Full HSSE and Quality responsibility for the project.
  • Full SEL Profit and Loss responsibility for the project.
  • Meet or exceed the customer expectations.
  • Maintain a positive work culture at all times, focussed on best in class services.
  • A detailed understanding of the Project Scope of Work and contract requirements.
  • Provision of both management and technical leadership to project.
  • Responsible for development of all necessary project execution plans and procedures.
  • Issue the Project Daily, Weekly and Monthly Project Execution Reports as required, including forecasts.
  • Ensure time sheets are signed, and distributed to finance
  • Ensure payments are on time.
  • Ensure the security of all assigned personnel.
  • Maintain a daily log of site significant activities.
  • Chair regular internal & external planning meetings. Follow up on actions and driving of schedule deliverables.
  • Lead Client Management interface to ensure consistently favourable outcomes.
  • Responsible for hiring of all resources required for the project, with assistance of Head Office recruitment and assignment team.

Scope:

Manages the project team at site to deliver the requirements of the project specific contract accepted at ITO to OTR handover.


Principal Working Relationships

  • Reports on a daily and weekly basis directly to the Consultancy & Commissioning Director and customer management teams to deliver the functional requirements.
  • Direct working relationship with the Project team members.


Responsibilities under the Quality Management System (QMS)

  • As the Site Manager, you have the responsibility to ensure that the Company Project Quality Management System conforms to the ISO 9001-2015 Standard.
  • As the Process Owner for the Project Execution Process, you are responsible and accountable for the effectiveness and efficiency of the process and ensuring that the process is achieving the intended results in accordance with the QMS.
  • As the Process Owner you also have the responsibility and authority to make changes to the Process to meet the changing needs of the business and where improvements are identified or where changes are required to achieve the intended results and to drive continuous improvement.
  • Process Owners shall demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to the Quality Management System.
  • Process Owners have the specific responsibility for ensuring that the Processes they are responsible for deliver their intended results.
  • Process Owners are responsible and accountable for reporting on the Process Performance of the QMS and for recommending opportunities for improvement.
