AJ Chambers is seeking a Senior Associate specializing in contentious construction for a prestigious international law firm experiencing rapid growth.

Your responsibilities will include working as a senior associate within a dynamic construction practice based in London, serving clients across England and Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

You will assist two partners specializing in contentious construction by providing advice and managing various forms of dispute resolution, including adjudication, litigation, mediation, and expert determination. Your role will involve offering strategic guidance to clients to achieve optimal outcomes and serving as the primary advisor for over 10 clients.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Exceptional legal expertise with a minimum of 5 years' experience in contentious construction
  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales
  • Proficient in managing adjudications and court proceedings under partner supervision
  • Demonstrated excellence in contentious construction
  • A proactive attitude with a desire to acquire new skills and develop professionally
  • Strong time management and client relationship skills
  • A commitment to building a personal network and fostering client relationships
  • A collaborative team player who supports junior colleagues
  • Detail-oriented with high standards of work

Compensation:

Salary is open and commensurate with PQE and candidate experience, with potential earnings exceeding £100,000.
