Events Executive

Salary up to £34,500

East Grinstead, West Sussex


Talent Hub are working with a large leisure company based in West Sussex to find talent for their Events Executive vacancy. Joining their events team this position will support the organisation and marketing of large out-door camping events.


Key responsibilities for the Events Executive include:


  • Liaise with event organisers and landowners with regard to administration of all aspects of temporary site management. Obtain quotations from preferred contractors and suppliers in liaison with the Events Production Manager and Procurement team.
  • Manage daily bookings, resolving payment errors and duplicate bookings as required. Produce and distribute sales booking reports.
  • Provide analysis and feedback on the feasibility of each event and produce and maintain revenue and expenditure budgets for each event. Research and review new temporary campsite opportunities.
  • Develop marketing and promotion collateral for temporary campsites, including their major festival to final sign-off, in conjunction with the wider marketing team.
  • Manage their equipment Hire capability, ensuring that orders are fulfilled and hire arrangements are administered from receipt of order to return of equipment.
  • Provide further administrative and logistics support to the Events team as required.


For this Events job you will need:


  • Degree, or significant experience in Events (out-door or exhibitions)
  • Professional Event and/or Marketing qualification is desirable.
  • Significant events experience in a customer-centric commercial environment (ideally B2C and B2B).
  • Ability to create strong relationships with external business partners, sponsors and suppliers.
  • Exposure and understanding of contractor engagement and management.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of an event booking system.
  • Full UK driving licence.
