Our client is a Midlands based Creative Agency with a great opportunity for a Creative Director.

**The role will be flexible on hybrid working**


As the Creative Director you will lead the creative vision and strategy across a diverse portfolio of retail brands. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that all campaigns and content resonate deeply with target audiences, driving brand awareness, loyalty, and sales. You'll collaborate closely with the client’s marketing team to craft innovative campaigns that enhance brand credibility and consideration.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Spearhead the conceptual and strategic development of retail brands within your portfolio, pushing teams and clients to exceed expectations.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with senior stakeholders, articulating creative visions with clear, thoughtful rationale.
  • Lead the creation of compelling campaign concepts across various channels, including in-store, print, digital, and social media.
  • Translate client briefs and brand guidelines into visually engaging and impactful content that aligns with brand identity and targets the intended audience.
  • Manage and mentor a team of designers, art directors, and copywriters, ensuring high-quality work that meets client expectations and deadlines.
  • Oversee the production process from concept to delivery, ensuring consistency and excellence in all outputs.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in fashion and interiors marketing, continuously innovating to differentiate brands in a competitive landscape.
  • Shape the visual aesthetics, messaging, and tone for campaigns.
  • Prioritize projects and allocate resources effectively in collaboration with project management and production teams to ensure efficient workflows.

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor teams, driving them towards achieving shared goals.
  • Meticulous in maintaining brand consistency and delivering the highest quality work.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple clients and priorities simultaneously.
  • Quick to process information, make informed decisions, and communicate them effectively to gain stakeholder buy-in.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading creative teams, preferably within the fashion sector.
  • Experience across multiple portfolios and agency environments.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and relevant design software.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management.
  • Extensive experience in brand building and reappraisal, specifically within retail.
