Are you a marketer within a big automotive group based in England looking for an exciting new challenge?

We have a Regional Marketing Manager opportunity for you to work on a well-known automotive brand – being part of a FIELD-BASED team for a global marcom agency visiting dealerships.
There are two roles -
1) to work across the Southern area of the UK (easy access to M4 / M5 corridor essential)
2) to work across the Midlands & Wales (easy access to M5/M6/M1 corridor essential)
Here you will work closely with the marcom agency team, the manufacturer, and retail network, acting as a collaborative marketer, who, with your automotive background and understanding of business challenges and opportunities, you will advise dealers on marketing solutions across Retail/Fleet/After Sales/Used Car/Motability/Accessories, encouraging them to embrace new marketing channels and innovations.
Key Responsibilities
- Consultancy: Advise retail dealers on lead generation, management, and customer loyalty, including maximising use of their database with a clear focus on sales conversion.
- Campaign Execution: Support the network in achieving brand standards through effective experiential, digital, and social activities.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with dealers, agency, and manufacturer colleagues through site visits and online interactions.
- Collaboration: Work with Sales and After Sales teams to ensure alignment on requirements.
- Industry Insight: Stay updated on automotive industry trends and the evolving role of dealer networks.
- Problem Solving: Use tools and insights to address current challenges and provide marketing solutions.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience: Significant experience in a similar field-based marketing role (client/agency side).
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in digital and social platforms, data analysis, and reporting (Excel).
- Communication: Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the automotive industry.
Our client is offering a competitive salary of £45 – 50k + car + benefits.
