Are you an experienced in managing financial budgets for Highways and Transport projects? Do you have experience in Contracts Management? If so, look no further

I am looking for a seasoned leader to manage and lead a variety of portfolios within Highways, Transportation and Greenspace. As the Head of Transport & Highways, you will be responsible for strategically developing the operational maintenance of agreed Council contracts by working with partners to ensure deliverables are met and maintained across a wide service including transport planning, highways, traffic, maintenance, and greenspace projects.

  • Demonstrable experience of managing large scale complex contracts to deliver efficient services.
  • Prior experience in management of the delivery of highways capital programmes and greenspace operational services.
  • Commercial and financial acumen with demonstrable experience of successful financial management including capturing savings and cost-effective approaches in a contract.
  • Prior experience of working with a variety of stakeholders; demonstrating the ability to mitigate and resolve conflict to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Experience of working as a Senior or Head of Transport & Highways within the Public Sector with an understanding of government legislation.
