MacGregor Black is partnering with a prominent Beverage company on the search for a Health & Safety Manager. This is a permanent role based in Scotland.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Lead incident investigations, identifying root causes and ensuring corrective actions are in place.
  • Provide training and support to employees on health and safety practices.
  • Monitor health and safety performance metrics and prepare reports for continuous improvement.
  • Foster a proactive safety culture, encouraging employee engagement in health and safety initiatives.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness plans are in place and regularly tested.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices, ensuring company policies reflect current standards.


What we're looking for?


  • Proven experience in a health and safety management role within the Food & Beverage manufacturing, or similar industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.


Salary: £60k + Benefits (Depending on Experience).
