MacGregor Black is partnering with a prominent Beverage company on the search for a Health & Safety Manager. This is a permanent role based in Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Lead incident investigations, identifying root causes and ensuring corrective actions are in place.
- Provide training and support to employees on health and safety practices.
- Monitor health and safety performance metrics and prepare reports for continuous improvement.
- Foster a proactive safety culture, encouraging employee engagement in health and safety initiatives.
- Ensure emergency preparedness plans are in place and regularly tested.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices, ensuring company policies reflect current standards.
What we're looking for?
- Proven experience in a health and safety management role within the Food & Beverage manufacturing, or similar industry.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Relevant qualifications in health and safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Salary: £60k + Benefits (Depending on Experience).
