My client is currently on the search for an infrastructure engineer to join their fast growing IT department. This role consists of designing and developing advanced end-user computing solutions, managing device deployments, and providing technical guidance.
The ideal candidate should have experience in end-user computing engineering or support, hold ITIL Foundation or relevant certifications, and possess strong skills in various technologies and scripting languages such as PowerShell and Proficient in end user computing technologies such as Azure, Intune, Office 365.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of end user compute solutions using various technologies, such as Windows Operating Systems, Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, etc.
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of end user devices, such as laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones, printers, etc.
- Manage the configuration and administration of end user applications, such as email, collaboration tools, cloud applications, etc.
- Lifecycle management of all end user devices, keeping them supported, patched and secured.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the Service Desk on end user computing technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to understand the requirements and specifications of end user computing projects.
- Resolve escalated incidents and service requests, creating knowledge articles and managing problems.
- Research and evaluate new end user computing technologies and trends to improve existing services.
- Create and update documentation for end user computing systems and processes.
