Thatcher Associates has been retained by a Construction Services business to assist with the appointment of a Sales Executive.


Company

Our client is a family owned business that specializes in waste management. They run a fleet of vehicles and a recycling facility, providing services to building and civil engineering contractors and residential developers within 50 miles of Bristol.


The Role

Working from their offices near the center of Bristol, the core function of this role is to manage key accounts and to sell products and services to new clients. Responsibilities will include:


  • Keeping in contact and building relationships with a large database of clients who have used the company’s services historically, re-introducing the company’s services and products.
  • Tracking construction and civil engineering activity within 50 miles of Bristol, identifying opportunities for new business.
  • Contacting clients by telephone and meeting new and existing clients at their site, selling the company’s products and services.
  • Negotiating prices with clients.
  • Reporting to a Business Development Manager, providing sales reports.
