Summary

An international developer, owner and operator of onshore and offshore wind, solar and BESS projects are seeking a Land Associate for their growing Edinburgh team


As a Land Associate, you'll play a critical role in the greenfield development of renewable energy projects. You'll identify and securing land for renewable energy farms in the UK.


You will collaborate closely with internal grid, GIS, project management and engineering teams across the business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify greenfield development opportunities
  • Build and nurture relationships with landowners, agents, and consultants
  • Lead negotiations for Heads of Terms, Option Agreements, easements etc
  • Coordinate and conduct site visits
  • Maintain project documentation
  • Review and analyse land ownership and tenancy documentation
  • Record, track, and manage project data using the GIS system
  • Collaborate with legal team to complete due diligence on property transactions.
  • Be the first point of contact for landowners throughout the project lifecycle
  • Site visits


About You

  • At least 18 month's experience in a land acquisition role in the renewable energy space
  • Full UK drivers license and access to a car
  • Proven strength in relationship-building and a talent for negotiation
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects of various stages of development.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
