Contract/Cost Manager to support an EPC construction project, near to Sunderland in The North East of the UK. The roles are for the client, you would be working with them prior to the FID to help set up systems before working to support the project delivery.





The role will be starting in September 2024, lasting approximately 18+ months running into 2026 and potentially longer with future projects both nationally and internationally.






The role is initially part time for the first six months, raising to full time from 2025 onwards.






The Contract/Cost Manager will work from the client's office near to Sunderland, remotely and onsite once construction commences. The client is delivering a cutting edge new build sustainable plant concept.






LOCATION: Sunderland Region, UK

DURATION: 18+ Months Contract.

START: September 2024

PART TIME: 1-3 days a week until 2025 – Then full time





Contract & Cost Manager






· 10+ years’ experience working in a contracts, procurement or costing type role

· Experience working on EPC/Construction projects

· Working history based at/on a construction site

· Experience working on projects from kick off – setting up systems and processes

· Client-side and/or EPC Contractor experience is very beneficial

· Experience with resource costing, contract queries and sub-contractor management

· Good communication skills, able to speak with clients and sub-contractors onsite

· Fluent English speaking




You will be joining the project at its start, initially you will help the existing projects team to set up the framework for contracts (contracts are already in place with sub-contractors), procurement and payments, you will then support the EPC project through its full delivery to completion.







The client is looking for an experienced candidate to ideally start within the next 6 weeks. The client can interview in early August, so please get in touch if interested.
