I am recruiting another exciting Payroll Officer position, working for an exciting and progressive business based in Potters Bar. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining employee records, and handling payroll-related queries. The role requires strong organisational skills and a solid understanding of payroll processes and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain payroll records, including timesheets, tax information, and benefits.
  • Handle PAYE, NI, and pension contributions, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll enquiries.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end payroll reporting (P60s, P45s, P11Ds).
  • Work with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate data management.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar payroll role.
  • Solid understanding of UK payroll legislation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.


The successful candidate will be an experience Payroller experienced in producing the duties listed above, you will be a great team-player and able to commute into the offices for this hybrid role.


Salary: up to £35,000
