Purpose of Role

Working as an integral part of matrix team, Clinical Trainer will be responsible for supporting the sales growth of On Formulary target brands across the region through the delivery of clinical education and building strong key relationships to ensure that Urgo is a partner of choice.


This role will be primarily field based and require travelling as per customer and/ or business needs across Scotland.



Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Regional Sales Team on maintaining existing and developing new compression business through the training of NHS Clinical Staff on compression aetiology and application of compression.
  • Provide Best in Class clinical training to existing and new nurse customers, enabling the Product Specialists to grow the Advance Wound Care Brands.
  • Provide innovative and valuable clinical training sessions that drive engagement and building positive customer relationships.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at delivering customer service excellence.



Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Registered Nurse (current qualification) Band 5 with proven knowledge of leg ulcers, aetiology and treatment options.
  • Excellent presentation skills; including the confidence to present to large groups in a face to face and virtual environment.
  • Excellent influencing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise, plan and organize your work and deliver to deadlines.
  • A full Clean Driver’s license as the role will include travel across the South – West territory.
