THE ROLE


The role of the Associate Business Manager – Medicines Access (MA) is to learn under supervision of the line manager, how to plan, execute, and finalise MA Specialist Importer (SI) division projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.


This includes coordinating the efforts of internal team members, external clients, healthcare professionals and third parties to deliver projects according to plan.


A key part of the role is ensuring unlicensed medicines are delivered to healthcare professionals on time in-line with all relevant supporting documents.


The role also includes handling a range of customer accounts (both UK and International) building sustainable relationships of trust through effective customer relationship development and management to handle customer enquiries effectively and efficiently.


KEY RESPONSIBILITES


  • Support project for the MA specialist importer division from beginning to end with guidance from the line manager
  • Process customer orders accurately for each enquiry through to completion to ensure the company ethos of ‘promised delivered’ is followed throughout the process, including preparing quotes, POs and invoices
  • Plan and track project timelines and deliverables
  • Become adept at using BAPs in house stock control and customer order system: SAP Business by Design
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including healthcare professionals, wholesale partners, medical information departments and logistics teams ensuring collaborative and cohesive working.
  • Adherence to set regulatory and legislative standards and the BAP Pharma internal processes
  • In collaboration with the line manager identify potential crises and devise contingency plans
  • Respond to inbound calls and emails consistently meeting and maintaining department KPI’s ensuring that response times for customers do not fall outside of SLA and achieve the CSF’s
  • Make proactive calls to customers to support account development needs when required


SKILLS AND EXPEREINCE


  • Educated to University Degree or College Diploma standard or higher (or equivalent)
  • 1 year’s direct work experience in a project management and or client management position
  • Customer service skills and excellent telephone manner is essential
  • Database and operating systems experience with stock control systems
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
  • Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
  • Fluent English language, knowledge of foreign languages desirable but not essential
