Operations Project Manager

Operations Project Manager
Alexander Steele are delighted to announce that we have partnered with a successful and market-leading FMCG brand to find an Operations Project Manager. Due to some growth in the business, the Operations Director is looking for someone to come work alongside them.
The purpose of the role is to implement and execute the strategic operational projects while looking at business process mapping, matrix mapping, and overall ad hoc projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, evaluating and optimising operations to be efficient and cost-effective
- Manage, create, and launch Business Process Maps and SOP’s
- Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures
- Assist the Board of Directors in the development and preparation of the strategy and general business planning for their growth strategy, and the organisation as a whole.
- Preparing and presenting monthly analysis, and reports of operations and sales initiatives.
- Support the Operations Director in the allocation of weekly departmental actions through the SharePoint platform through the Departmental
- Utilise agreed systems to manage the region’s functions, analysis, and documenting.
- Work with the Operations Leadership Team to establish projects which support the growth of our business.
- Establish project plans, tasks, resources, and ownership to ensure timelines are met.
- Manage internal and external projects which may extend to suppliers and contracted services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years in Retail or FMCG background.
- Highly organised and motivated.
- Able to maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion.
- Excellent Stakeholder Management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - able to motivate others and build effective relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages
