The opportunity

IQ Endoscopes are looking for our next Demand & Supply Chain Lead to manage our full supply chain, and develop and implement critical SIOP processes for our business. This position is available at an exciting time in our company’s development as we move from an R&D focussed start-up organization to a commercial company selling an exciting new range of single use endoscope products.

This role will play a critical part in helping us to achieve our initial commercial goals and drive our scale up into higher volume manufacturing.

You will work closely with other teams (e.g. Finance, Quality, R&D & Sales) as a senior member of our Operations Team to ensure a clear and smooth translation of product demand and materials requirements to and from our external partners. Together, with our UK Manufacturing Lead, you will collate pricing information, have the ability to negotiate on pricing for components for different volume break points and run analyses to ensure understanding and control on product COGs.

Your focus initially will be

  • To establish IQE’s UK Supply Chain from Manufacture to Warehousing to Customer Sales and all associated SIOP activities
  • To be responsible for demand planning cross-functionally, identifying key constraints and developing plans to mitigate these
  • Manage and maintain records for product Cost of Goods using Excel
  • Be responsible for developing from a start-up point SIOP processes assuring product supply to support changing demand


What you must have

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar Lead, Head of or Senior supply chain, operations and/or demand planning position within a highly regulated engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience in inventory and demand management
  • Experience of defining and establishing a demand planning process
  • Track record of success in supply chain planning and logistics.
  • Knowledge of forecasting and replenishment methodologies
  • Experience of managing an operational end to end supply chain working with different supply chain functions

You will be highly analytical with strong organisational and presentation skills and a proven ability to conduct complex and quantitative analyses complimented with qualitative inputs from multiple sources to draw conclusions and make recommendations.

An excellent communicator, collaborator and relationship builder able to build positive relationships across multiple departments, customers, and key stakeholders. You will have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, strong commercial awareness, be results focused with the ability to meet commitments and deadlines and a self-motivated team member who can drive resolution to issues with strong problem-solving skills.
