Location – Southport
Salary – £40-55k
About the company:
A well-established and growing investment business with a longstanding team and fantastic working environment, with a new opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join the team in a broad role that is crucial to the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Presenting figures to the board with commentary
- VAT returns
- Preparation of year-end
- Intercompany management
- Liaising with external accountants
- Reviewing bank reconciliations
Skills/Qualifications required:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (PQ/Finalist also considered with relevant experience)
- Accountancy practice experience a bonus, but not required
- Strong technical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
