About the Role:
My client is seeking a strategic Head of Technologies to lead their IT initiatives and digital transformation efforts. Based in Grimsby, this role involves developing and implementing IT strategies to enhance productivity, operational efficiency, and competitive edge across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital tool integration.
- Manage technology vendor selection and contract negotiations.
- Lead and mentor a diverse IT team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Drive process re-engineering, particularly in works management and ERP platforms.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify and implement technology solutions.
- Manage risk, compliance, and financial planning for IT investments.
Essential Experience:
- Proven leadership in digital transformation and IT strategy.
- Experience with ERP platforms, process re-engineering, and vendor management.
- Strong technical acumen, including cybersecurity and cloud environments.
- Excellent financial management, stakeholder engagement, and team management skills.
- Familiarity with EDI, IBM Power systems, and Asure environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Relevant certifications like PMP, ITIL, or ISO27001 are advantageous.
