What you’ll be doing:
The role holder will undertake some or all of thefollowing tasks :-- Apply knowledge,technical skills and general engineering experience to generate PCBdesigns Interpretation, generation, and management ofschematic diagrams Collaborate closely with the mechanical andelectronic design teams Collaborate closely with the manufacturing teamensuring Design for Manufacture and Design for Test considerationsare embodied Generation of manufacturing datapacks Support Design and PeerReviews Undertake component librarymanagement Modifications and maintenance of legacydesigns
- PCB design techniques for large, complex,multi-layer, multi-substrate, PCBs. (Up to 24 layer, 2000+components) Designing for controlled impedance, high speeddigital, RF, mixed signal, high current, and large FPGAtechnologies Experience of blind, buried, and filled viatechniques Experience of Cadence design tool suite Ability to work with complex mechanical profiles toaccommodate enclosure, structural, thermal, and screeningrequirements Experience of one or more industry standardtoolsets Ability to work to ISO9001 and IPC-610standards Experience of flexible PCB and interconnectingassemblies. –Desirable

The PCB Design team: As PCB Designer, you will contribute to the outputof a small team generating approximately 30 PCB designs per year.The role will provide you with the opportunity to join variouscomplex Radar and Underwater Weapon development projects.
