We are seeking a highly skilled PCB Design Engineer to join our team at Hunter Selection Limited. As a leading recruitment consultancy, we specialize in permanent and contract roles within Engineering and Manufacturing, IT and Digital, Science and Technology, and Service and Sales sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop multilayer PCBs for space and satcom payload applications, with a focus on high-density interconnect (HDI) technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with IPC standards and industry best practices.
  • Develop and implement design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) procedures.
  • Utilize Allegro and Expedition design tools to create and manage PCB designs, including constraint management and net length matching.
  • Design and develop power supply, analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for satcom payload applications.
  • Develop and implement CAM setup and Gerber generation procedures.
  • Provide full sets of deliverables for PCB fabrication and assembly.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in PCB design and manufacturing.
Requirements
  • Strong background in PCB layout design, with experience in multilayer PCB design and HDI technologies.
  • Proficiency in Allegro, Orcad Capture CIS, Mentor Graphics Expedition, Dx-designer, PADS, Cad Star, Board Station RE, HyperLynx, Valor, and CAM 350 design tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex design issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
