Internal Audit Manager, Hybrid, Ayrshire

Our client is an international financial services name and a leader in its field in the UK and Europe, regulated by the FCA.
- They are looking to bring in an experienced audit/assurance professional to lead and supervise a portfolio of internal audit engagements and to work closely with the Head of Audit to develop the Internal Audit team in the UK and wider European business.
- Working as part of a small team, you will play a key role in helping shape the approach, deepen business understanding, build effective stakeholder relationships, and raise the profile of the function across a diverse and growing organisation.
- This is a rare opportunity to join a developing team, in a company with a strong customer focused culture, great access to senior leaders and a reputation for providing interesting development opportunities.
Experience sought:
- This role will suit both ambitious Manager-level Audit or Assurance people with strong experience leading audits or other assurance/controls work.
- Experience of Consumer Duty, Customer Conduct & Outcomes and/or Collections is welcome.
- It could also be a great opportunity for an External Audit Manager level candidate looking to transition into industry from professional practice.
- FS experience is preferred, but not absolutely necessary as the hiring manager values diverse industry backgrounds.
A hybrid working scheme is in place, split between the office near Glasgow and the rest at home.
