Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across the healthcare estate. The position ensures that Equans are able to provide an excellent service to our customers. What will you deliver?
- To undertake a proactive assistant role in carrying out maintenance, repairs and inspection of mechanical building services
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical and associated building services in accordance with the PPM programme
- Respond in a timely manner to ad-hoc breakdown requests as identified by supervisor / manager or as a minimum, as per site contract
- Assist in Carrying out installation work involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works
- Carry out duties in accordance with safe working practices within statutory and Company guidelines
- Safely operate all types of access equipment, hand and power tools
- Ensure the correct use of personal protective equipment and adherence to health & safety and infection control procedures
- Complete work within the allotted timeframes
- Carry out any other identified tasks commensurate with role

Who are we looking for?
- NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance Services or Equivalent
- Previously worked within a maintenance environment
- Worked on Mechanical Systems, DHW, LPHW, CHW , Ventilation Systems
- Previous Pipe Fitting Duties
- Worked on Steam Systems (desirable)
This role includes a standard DBS check therefore ability to pass is essential.
