**Role**: Maintenance Engineer
**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 7am till 4pm (3pm finish on Friday’s)
**Salary**: £34,000 to £36,000 per annum, plus overtime and benefits
**Location**: Commutable from Worcester, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, Redditch, Evesham, Cheltenham and surrounding suburbs.
**Company**
Although working for a large and global manufacturing company, you will be site based at one of their smaller and newer sites, with a total of 18 staff members. You will be working within a new team, some of which have made the internal transfer in the companyto take up an exciting new role and environment.
We require someone who is happy to turn their hands to a variety of work, including maintenance, running and operating of machinery, warehouse duties and more.
It would suit someone who enjoys a variety work, getting their hands dirty, the desire to learn and help shape the future of a new site, and work within a small, friendly and supportive team.
**Responsibilities**
Working in a new site and position, the role isn’t completely defined and requires flexibility. It will however involve the following;
- Maintenance of plant equipment - around 8 pieces of machinery currently including conveyor systems. Potentially more equipment to come in the future.
- Working reactively to machinery problems and breakdowns, carrying out repairs.
- Helping to plan and build a planned preventative maintenance system.
- Assist with any project work including machinery changes, refurbishments or installations.
- Working in production, set and operate machinery - supporting production in making the product.
- Assist in warehouse in logístically getting the product packaged, loaded and out. Use of forklift truck - training will be provided.

**Requirements**:

- Maintenance experience in ideally a similar environment - manufacturing, production or industrial.
- Engineering qualifications are only desirable in either mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Be either experienced in Mechanical Maintenance or Electrical Maintenance - either considered.
- Any of the following skills and experience would be desirable; hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, belts, bearings, chains, fault finding and repairs.
- Friendly and adaptable working attitude, with the hunger to learn and develop their skills.
- Enjoy getting your hands dirty within a heavy plant environment.
