Head of Applications Software Development, London, Hybrid

Role Overview:

As the Head of Applications Software Development, you will lead a talented team of software engineers, overseeing the development and deployment of cutting-edge applications that support real estate operations. You will play a key role in shaping technical strategy, ensuring platforms are scalable, secure, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the software development team, ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality applications.
  • Define and drive the software development strategy, aligning with business goals and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet market needs.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in software architecture, security, and compliance.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies to continuously improve platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8+ years in software development with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern development frameworks and cloud platforms.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire development teams.
  • Agile Expertise: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and processes.
  • A background working in Prop-Tech, or Real Estate would be highly advantageous
