Position Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and expanding our market presence within the assigned territory. If you have a passion for sales and a deep understanding of materials handling equipment, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and engage prospective customers through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our materials handling equipment.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the customer and the company.
  • Provide excellent post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that drive sales growth.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to track performance and provide insights to management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the materials handling equipment or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of materials handling equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, pallet jacks, and automated systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
