Synergize Consulting are now hiring for an IT Support Engineer to work at a leading client of ours in the healthcare sector, on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for performing technical support duties, at 1st and 2nd line level, and will provide administration of the organisation's product base.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the organisation's IT and technical product base.
- First and second line IT support for technical queries and issues
- Deploying and refreshing IT hardware, such as PC's and Laptops
- Email and messaging system support
- Creating new user accounts, and assisting with sign-on
- Providing on-call support out of hours, where required
- Producing system reports for stakeholders as necessary
Experience required:
- Experience in an IT Support role, with demonstrable skills in providing support to a varied userbase.
- Hardware skills including deploying and supporting PC's and Laptops
- Excellent customer service skills and a problem-solving attitude
- Knowledge of Windows servers and OS would be highly desirable
- Image transfer experience
- Ability to manage user accounts, and previous experience of supporting mail servers
- Experience of managing IT assets and inventories
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility as to working out of hours and 'on call' where required
