Are you an experienced Programme Planning Manager looking to work on exciting major projects where no two days will be the same while working with a world-renowned client in the Sussex region?

What sets this role aside is the scope of opportunity, projects range from early feasibility through to complex delivery. The projects range in size, complexity, and discipline, from civil engineering, construction, MEP and fit out, technical engineering, sustainability and value engineering. This opportunity does offer candidates the chance to really grow in a planning and project controls role.

We are looking for individuals who are not only adept at challenging existing plans and methodologies but are also enthusiastic about leading and developing a team of planners. The goal is to drive continuous improvement by streamlining processes and optimising ways of working within the planning function. If you thrive on pushing the boundaries of traditional planning approaches and are eager to contribute to the growth and efficiency of a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • Extensive Primavera P6 knowledge.
  • Experience developing/ managing construction budgets within the constraints of cost estimates.
  • Working experience of governance, schedule and quality reporting.
  • Previous project planning experience as a Senior Planner working on major infrastructure projects/ programmes typically more than £50M.
  • Previous experience of leading a team.
  • Demonstrable experience in working with a wide range of stakeholders to explain complex or abstract ideas.
