As our new Application Developer, you will be responsible for helping the team design, develop and maintain high quality applications and forms for mobile, tablet and web. This role is a great opportunity to kick start your career within Application Development. Not only will we help you develop in this role, but you will be given the freedom to be creative and to be part of a fantastic, engaging team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilising Microsoft PowerApps to drive productivity and solve business needs
  • Adapting the design of applications to new designs when necessary
  • Developing new applications to aim the requirements of the business
  • Reacting to problems and correcting and bugs within applications.
  • Assist and provide insights in relation to document change control processes
  • Combine elements of technical design and progression through build to testing and execution

We are looking for someone with:

  • An aptitude for problem solving, ability to estimate time taken to achieve set goals and the ability to work independently or as part of team, escalating any identified issues appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of coding languages, including C# and C++
  • Experience of designing user interfaces and use of Rapid Development Platforms (such as PowerApps)
  • Ability to work conscientiously, independently and to tight deadlines
  • A high level of initiative and motivation
  • Willingness to aptitude to learn quickly
  • Strong problem solving and fault-finding skills
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
