Seeking a talented and creative 2D Designer to join a dynamic projects team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 2D, and ideally some experience of 3D design. With the ability to conceptualize designs, and visuals to present to clients. Designs will be brought to life at their in-house workshop where you will be responsible for setting up all the artwork elements for various projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create innovative 2D and 3D designs for retail displays.
  • Develop presentation decks for retail displays and artwork approval documents using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • An understanding of software such as Sketchup or similar 3D Creative software to produce detailed 3D models and photorealistic renderings of retail displays would be ideal
  • Work closely with the Projects team to understand project requirements and develop creative concepts that meet the client objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Prepare and present design concepts and prototypes to clients and colleagues, incorporating feedback and making necessary amends to meet client expectations.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.


Ideal Candidate

We seek a candidate who combines creative thinking with practical attention to detail. The ideal individual should be organised, diligent, and comfortable working with tight immovable deadlines. We ideally want a candidate who can infuse their unique creative style into our company and demonstrate a real passion for design.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in 3D modelling and rendering software ideally using Sketchup and Vray or similar 3D Creative software.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Understanding of technical drawings and brand guidelines.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of 2D work, particularly in retail design environments.
  • Willing to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast paced constantly evolving environment.


Skills Required

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to client and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and in a team environment.
  • Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail with project scope and keeping on top of day-to-day admin tasks.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in 2D/3D design, preferably in the POS or retail industry.
