Job Description

About the Internal Sales Executive Role


Our client is a specialist bank which has embarked upon an exciting process of repositioning and is emerging as a leading challenger in the Asset Finance market. This exciting opportunity is working with a fantastic company who really care about their employees, understand, and are committed to the market, and have implemented market leading broker systems to drive their growth.


As Internal Sales Executive your responsibilities and duties will include:


  • Share responsibility with BDM to originate the required number of proposals and profitable volume of business per month as targeted
  • Originate and develop new business with existing assigned Brokers by maintaining and strengthening the business relationship.
  • Manage daily pipeline of proposals and achieve an adequate acceptance to completion ratio for Brokers of responsibility.
  • Support BDM with customer document creation and pay out checks process.
  • Instruct vehicle valuations from approved valuation panel.
  • Ensure weekly LinkedIn deal templates sent to marketing.
  • Ensuring brokers trading agreements are signed appropriately and managing brokers regulatory compliance requirements (AML, GDPR, TFC, Complaint Handling)
  • Build individual relationships with the business owner as well as the Broker ‘sales force to maximise success.
  • Master the web portal and App for quoting and proposals and Understand rate & commission structure and End of Term process
  • Conducting timely Broker reviews and keep Brokers reviews on target
  • To Appreciate the quality of suppliers and their invoicing by way of deposits & VAT.
  • To support BDM with broker visits when required.
  • To manage their own panel of brokers with a personal annual target.

Qualifications and experience

  • Asset Finance experience in a relevant role
  • Working within the UK broker market


Competencies and Attributes

  • Understanding of the end to end Asset Finance process from enquiry to payout
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team as the business requires
  • An understanding of regulatory requirements including KYC/AML and FCA Regulations.
