The role


Reporting to the Head of People Operations and Development you will provide comprehensive administrative support for a dedicated sector that contributes to the delivery of high-quality People processes in line with our Build Sure commitments and values.



  • Coordinate onboarding processes, including new employee orientation, training schedules, and paperwork completion.
  • Maintain and update employee records in Dayforce in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of employee data in HRIS systems.
  • Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure employees understand and comply with company policies.
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely submission.
  • Address employee queries and provide support on HR-related issues.
  • Assist in resolving employee concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Support HR initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement.
  • Assist with the preparation of HR reports,presentations, and correspondence.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the HR department

 


Your profile


Essential



  • Experience of providing administrative support, preferably within a professional HR shared service environment.
  • Experience of preparing and delivering standard documentation
  • Experience of using a variety of systems and databases including accurate keyboard skills and a good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience of Excel (with the ability to use formulas)
  • Experience with HRIS software
  • Experience of prioritising, planning and delivering own workload to tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and employment law.

 


Desired



  • CIPD / CIPP qualification or working towards
  • Previous experience of working within the construction sector
