Global E&C have a requirement for an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join the team on a permanent basis in Aberdeen.

Your key duties will include:

  • Proactively responding to, and closing out, payroll queries including time, rate, expenses, ex gratia and regular payments.
  • Identifying improvements to process and working with the cross functional team to implement and embed.
  • Working collaboratively across the business and building robust trusted relationships with the offshore, site and workshop teams.
  • Ensuring accurate data is received, processed and transitioned between systems to enable accurate on time payments.
  • Checking payroll information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork (DoA, audit, compliance, etc) is in order.
  • Coordinating with required stakeholders (HR, payroll, finance, timewriting, project controls) about changes in payroll.
  • Where required, supporting the wider team with data updates, time entry or wage adjustments to ensure on time accurate payments to employees.
  • Proactively provide data to management as required to inform business decision making.


To be successful in this role you will ideally be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience as a payroll coordinator or similar role.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes.
  • Strong Excel skills (functions, data etc.).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
