Data Privacy & Protection Manager

A financial services organisation are looking for a Data Privacy Manager to lead the Data Management team and oversee the Data Privacy Framework and manage the Data Asset Catalogue. This is a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure data privacy framework is up to date
  • Collaborate with the data protection office ahead of upcoming regulatory changes
  • Support the delivery of data privacy roadmap, taking lead on projects
  • Own and manage the data asset catalogue
  • Oversee data asset and data privacy reporting
  • Establish and enforce data privacy standards and procedures, including data retention, record of processing activities, PII data maps and significant processing activities
  • Conduct scans of our data estate for PII data in unauthorized locations


Experience required:

  • Certified Data Privacy professional with strong experience in the financial services sector
  • Solid understanding of Data Management Lifecycle and familiarity with Data Management Frameworks
  • Previous experience in Data Governance within the FS industry
