We are hiring for Data Governance Manager (DPA / Data Privacy / GDPR)


Location : Hybrid 2 days in Manchester OR Newcastle OR Sheffield Office


  • Strong understanding of data protection principles and regulations, particularly UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Experience in drafting, reviewing, and ensuring compliance with data sharing agreements.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement data governance strategies.
  • Knowledge of data quality management techniques and tools.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate users on data responsibilities, policies, and standards
  • Analyze and assess data sharing agreements and memoranda of understanding.
  • Leverage data management tools and technologies to automate tasks and improve data governance processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a government department is preferred.
  • Familiarity with social security systems in England and Wales is advantageous.
