Data Governance Strategist

Our client, a leading Specialist Insurer, is seeking a Data Governance Lead to join their City office and drive the implementation of their data governance strategy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing organisation-wide data governance activities, improving data quality, and protecting sensitive information assets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing and ensuring adherence to an enterprise data governance framework
- Improving data quality and consistency across the organisation
- Managing data protection and regulatory compliance
- Mentoring and coaching the organisation on data governance best practices
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data governance and quality, with a proven track record of developing and implementing data quality reporting processes and supporting business intelligence.
They will also possess a deep understanding of data management principles, data flow processes, and data governance practices.
Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of data-related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues.
As a Data Governance Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organisation's data governance discipline and data quality practices are mature and scalable to meet both regulatory requirements and operational processes.
