Data Governance Strategist

Job Summary:
i3 is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Lead to join our team in London. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning and driving the implementation of our data governance strategy, ensuring the quality and protection of sensitive data and information assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage organization-wide data governance activities, improving data quality and protection.
- Establish and ensure adherence to an enterprise data governance framework, covering data policies, standards, consistency, practices, and vision.
- Promote data governance, mentoring, and coaching the organization to embed policy adherence into their own policies and procedures.
- Serve as a point of escalation for governance, data quality, and protection issues, working closely with business and functional areas to improve data quality and value.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Data Governance/Quality domain.
- Exposure to Data Governance/Quality domain.
- Experience working in the London Insurance market, with high knowledge of key departments, including Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, Actuarial, and Finance functions.
- Experience developing Data Quality reporting processes and supporting Management Information (MI), with knowledge of key metrics and reporting KPIs.
- Strong understanding of data management principles and data flow processes and practices.
- Knowledge of data governance practices, business, and technology issues related to the management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection.
- Knowledge of data-related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues.
- Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change, and performance measurement system design.
- Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality Tools and a recognized subject matter expert to influence the way things are undertaken.
What We Offer:
i3 offers a competitive salary of £80,000 - £90,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonus, in a hybrid work environment with 2-3 days in the office per week.
