Job Title: Telematics Systems Engineer

First Bus is seeking a highly skilled Telematics Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing telematics systems for our electric and fuel cell vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain telematics systems for electric and fuel cell vehicles, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement telematics solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Design and develop telemetry dashboards to provide real-time data on vehicle performance and maintenance needs.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including vehicle manufacturers and technology providers.
  • Develop and implement data analytics and reporting tools to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including data security and privacy.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of telematics technology and its applications in the transportation industry.
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools, including Excel and SQL.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
