  • Ensure the smooth running of the operations including financial management, performance management and H&S.


  • Provide strong visible leadership in order to ultimately manage all staff through performance, management and training


  • Manage the product, the clients and the customer’s customers from the point the product enters the facility until it arrives at its ultimate destination.


  • Ensure cases handled, labour turnover, customer service levels, carrier management and profitability are measured through continuous improvement in KPIs.


  • Performance review internally of site and business, along with customers’ expectations against targets achieved.


  • Constantly review, communicate and improve performance, both business and customer


  • Responsible for profit and loss and budget setting for the site.


  • Leadership of all aspects of Health & Safety compliance


  • Act as a champion to all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across the workforce


  • Effectively communicate across all departments and sites, actively involving the workforce through regular reviews and management meetings and head office reporting


  • Maintain a high standard of repair and maintenance both of the fabric of the building and of all equipment
