Your role as a People Advisor


Reporting into a People Partner, your journey will involve supporting on a wide range of HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices while championing an engaging and supportive work environment.


Responsibilities


  • Act as the primary point of contact for People-related queries from colleagues and managers, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and employment legislation.


  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding activities.


  • Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and facilitate conflict resolution when necessary, escalating more complex cases to People Partners, where appropriate.


  • Contribute to the design and implementation of People policies, procedures, and initiatives to enhance the employee experience.


  • Administer and maintain accurate HR records and systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.


  • Stay up to date with changes in employment legislation and HR best practices, implementing necessary updates where relevant.


  • Be committed to maintaining our ISO27001 certification and setting high standards for Information Security compliance.


Personal Competencies


  • Educated to degree level and/or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience as a People Advisor or similar role, ideally within fast-paced, high-growth private sector companies.
  • Sound understanding of UK employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate across all levels of the business.
  • Proficiency in HRIS.
  • Experience in managing a wide range of employee relations issues.
