Job Overview:

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our existing distributor accounts. You will play a key role in supporting our distributors through strategic workouts and branch support. Additionally, you will leverage our state-of-the-art Tool Demonstration Van to showcase our products and solutions to customers, helping to drive sales and increase brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop and nurture relationships with existing distributor accounts, ensuring their ongoing support and growth.
  • Sales Strategy: Implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence within the designated area.
  • Tool Demonstrations: Utilize the Tool Demonstration Van to conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations for customers and distributors.
  • Branch Support: Provide on-site support and training for distributor branches, helping them to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement: Identify and address customer needs, providing tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities, using this information to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions, providing regular reports to management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the automotive aftermarket industry.
  • Strong understanding of distributor sales and account management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations and training sessions.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Proficiency in using sales software and tools.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel within the designated area.
