Our Cheltenham based client is looking for an accounts assistant to join their large finance team due to a period of steady growth.
Your Main responsibilities include:
· Processing of direct cost invoices.
· Monitoring and assisting with the purchase ledger Inbox and Service Desk
· uploading invoices on the accounting system
· Assisting with the preparation and creation of weekly payment runs to suppliers.
· Assistance at month end, year end and Audit
· To maintain the banking system supplier payment templates, making amendments as necessary, and setting up new instructions confirming bank details with the supplier
· Reconciling supplier statements
· Working with the Management Accountant to process and analyse purchases on a weekly basis
· Processing corporate credit cards and expenses using SAP
· Taking ownership of and liaising with Intercompany entities
