I am working with a really exciting sustainable retail company who are on the lookout for a videographer and editor.

You will play a crucial role in creating outstanding video content, primarily for their digital advertising channels. Your work will also be featured across the website and organic channels. By collaborating closely with the digital advertising team, you will develop top-tier concepts that effectively tell their brand story in a compelling and engaging manner.

Location: London

Salary: £50k

Working environment: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

  • Drive idea generation for digital advertising concepts and other video projects.
  • Develop storyboards, scout shoot locations, arrange for actors (as needed), and secure necessary equipment.
  • Lead video production and editing, from concept inception to final execution.
  • Partner with the growth and brand teams to create captivating ads and organic content that align with their brand narrative.
  • Manage the editing process with efficient feedback loops between yourself and the project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Talented self-shooting editor and videographer with 3+ years of experience, adept with a range of equipment including 4K+ cameras, DSLRs, and iPhones, in both studio and on-location settings.
  • Expert in social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, with a keen understanding of metrics to guide content ideas and engagement strategies.
  • Experienced in fast-paced environments where rapid testing, learning, and iteration are the norm.
  • Resourceful and capable of working within limited budgets to achieve high-quality results.
  • Skilled in handling briefs and navigating the production process, from pre-production advice and detailed shot lists to diverse execution methods, camera techniques, and lighting setups.
  • Passionate about storytelling with a knack for creating content that hooks and engages audiences.
  • Proficient in Premiere Pro and general video editing software, confident in After Effects, and skilled at colour grading.
