This role is a 4 on 4 off position, during training it will be Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:​​​​​​​

  • Having 1-2 years of experience in either exports or imports, handling export customs clearances.
  • Effective usage of T-Forms and the NCTS Transit System.
  • Utilising relevant software products for effective customs clearance procedures, including as Chief, Destin8, NCTS, CNS, and Descartes.
  • A working knowledge of import customs clearances. Understanding of Port Health rules is desirable.
  • Understanding of pertinent licences (desirable).
  • Excessive Movement and Control System (ERTS) (desirable)

Skills Required:

  • Possesses a self-assured and personable manner.
  • Exhibits extreme organisation and thorough attention to detail.
  • Deep expertise in issues pertaining to customs clearance.
  • Customer-focused, with a strong commitment to providing first-rate service.
  • Excellent decision-making abilities, including the capacity to assess, organise, and plan while adjusting to quickly shifting workloads.
  • Uses a methodical, logical approach and has great problem-solving skills. This individual is also able to operate independently in a time-constrained setting and cooperatively with others in a team.
