  • Implementation of TestStrategies Maintenance and repairof Test Equipment
  • Trainingof Test Technicians
  • Generationof test programs for equipment such as AOI, Boundary Scan, RovingProbe, X-Ray, Functional Testetc. SupportingDocumentation Technical Support todevelopment and productionprograms Design for Testassessments
Your skills andexperiences:

Essential:

  • Knowledgeof analogue and digitalcircuits The ability tointerpret circuit diagrams and to diagnose faults down to componentlevel Knowledge andunderstanding of modern Manufacturing Engineering practices, toolsand technology gained from experience working in a manufacturingenvironment Demonstrable success inutilising Lean manufacturing tools and techniques in the context ofprocess improvement, cost savings or wasteelimination

Desirable:

  • Arecognised electronics-based qualification orapprenticeship
  • Knowledgeof AOI, Roving Probe, Boundary Scan and FunctionalATE Lean six sigmaexperience, green belt or black beltaccreditation Experience in theapplication of Continuous Improvement and Root Cause &Corrective Action tools and techniques such as 5Y, 8D, PDCA, FMEA,fish bone and TPM

The Manufacturing Engineering Team: As part of theManufacturing Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role insupporting the manufacture of current and future products acrossour entire product range and the full programme lifecycle. Working closely withstakeholders across Manufacturing and Engineering you will use yourknowledge and experiences to support our manufacturing systems andprocesses during initial bid, new product introduction, productionand repair to ultimately ensure product quality is met withinschedule and budgettargets.
