About you and this role
This role provides specialized technical support and solutions for project teams, operations, and maintenance. The successful candidate will understand and implement Most Effective Technology (MET), work processes, tools, and industry best practices within their discipline. The Hardware Disciplines within Engineering and Maintenance include Buildings, Civil, Electrical, Instrument, Materials, Mechanical, Process Containment Equipment, and Piping. These disciplines support both projects and technical support teams as inspectors, designers on large projects, or leads for their discipline on projects. This role requires expanded conceptual and practical knowledge in the job discipline and aims to broaden capabilities.
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Ensure drawings and specifications are clear, meet business needs, and are followed during inspections.
- Complete reviews on time and ensure adherence by fabricators, constructors, and maintenance contractors.
- Lead the project within their discipline, ensuring adherence to work processes and best practices.
- Drive front-end loading for clear scope definition and control during execution.
- Coordinate activities within and across disciplines, ensuring deliverables meet project needs, are on time, and within budget.
- Lead technical contract package development, support implementation, and enforce the project change management program.
- Coach team members, provide guidance, drive economic designs, and ensure safety in design.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree plus engineering, manufacturing or related experience required.
Preferred Skills
- Electrical design , manufacturing and operation

- This is a location critical/Site based role.
