About the Opportunity:

We are delighted to collaborate exclusively with a professional services firm, which has recently completed a successful Private Equity transaction. Following rapid inorganic expansion, they are searching for a dynamic Head of Treasury to join our ranks. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious individual to spearhead the transformation and elevation of our treasury operations, playing a pivotal role in driving value in our fast-paced, acquisition-driven landscape.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash flow across the group, implementing strategies to optimize liquidity and support operational needs.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, ensuring seamless banking operations and services.
  • Execute FX hedging strategies to mitigate currency risks and safeguard financial performance.
  • Lead the implementation of rigorous payments processes to enhance efficiency and control.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track treasury performance and effectiveness.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Accounts Payable team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve processes across the business, driving operational efficiency.
  • Implement comprehensive credit control measures to manage credit risk and optimize cash collection.
  • Collaborate closely with the Group FC and CFO on ad hoc tasks, providing treasury insights and support for strategic decision-making.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or Treasury Qualification.
  • Extensive experience in cash management and treasury operations.
  • Proficiency in FX hedging techniques and strategies.
  • Prior experience in a Treasury or Financial Operations role, preferably within a dynamic and acquisitive environment.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with a proven track record of managing external banking relationships.
  • Ability to analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive change.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on value creation and strategic impact.
