A leading engineering / R&D organisation with multiple sites across the UK are looking to add a Junior Embedded Software Engineering talent to their Watford location, just West of London in Hertfordshire. As an Embedded Software Engineer you'll take responsibility for developing Linux device drivers, programming in C. You'll additionally assist with multi-threaded applications and developing server applications using Rust and/or Python.

Key skills required for this Embedded Software Engineer job include:

  • Experience in programming using Embedded C, ideally on a Linux platform.
  • Exposure to microcontrollers / microprocessors.
  • Experience with Rust and/or Python for multi-threaded server programming would be beneficial.
  • Exposure to kernel driver development would be highly beneficial.

This Embedded Software Engineer job is very well suited to a junior or graduate engineer with practical experience in embedded software programming. You'll be given the support and tools to challenge yourself as a software engineer.

You'll be onsite in the Rickmansworth offices (near Watford) 2-3 days per week.
