The Charity have exciting growth plans over the next year and to help them reach their goals they are now on the lookout for a passionate senior fundraiser to join their growing fundraising team in London.
This role will play pivotal role in the fundraising team and will see you being responsible for developing and implementing strategic fundraising initiatives to secure income from a variety of sources, including individuals, trusts and foundations, corporates, and events. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring the sustainability and growth of theirprograms.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet annual income targets.
Donor Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with major donors, trusts, and corporate partners, ensuring excellent stewardship and long-term engagement.
Proposal Writing: Prepare compelling funding proposals, grant applications, and sponsorship packages.
Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior fundraising staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Reporting: Track and report on fundraising performance, providing regular updates to senior management and the board of trustees.
Requirements:
Experience:Experience of working in an all-round fundraising position, preferably in the charity or non-profit sector, with a proven track record of securing significant funding.
Skills: Strong strategic planning, project management, and communication skills. Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships.
Knowledge: Understanding of the fundraising landscape in the UK, including knowledge of key funding sources and compliance requirements.
Passion: A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
